Cardano-based DEX AdaSwap raises $2.6M, Gal Gadot participates

Cardano-based decentralized exchange AdaSwap announced on March 3 that it has raised $2.6 million in its recent funding round led by iAngels.

The investment round also saw participation from Shima Capital, Pluto Digital, GBV, Stardust, Efficient Frontier, Finova, Banter Capital, and COTI, as well as angel investors, including prominent actress Gal Gadot and her husband and producer Jaron Valsano.

With the latest capital, AdaSwap aims to become the “best decentralized exchange on Cardano.” In addition to developing its DEX, the protocol plans to provide a Cardano-native NFT marketplace, staking, and high-yield liquidity pool.

iAngels said in the announcement:

The company has also revealed plans to introduce its own cryptocurrency ASW token, which will be built on the Cardano network and will be compatible with all other Cardano-based tokens.
