2023 has been a year filled with a lot of work being done on the Revuto project. As we get closer to the launch of our core product, it is necessary to ensure that everything is prepared correctly to guarantee the success of what we have been working so hard on for so long.

Starting the year by rewarding our users with FREE CRYPTO

In January, we released REVU tokens from Revuto’s MuesliSwap Staking Pool and also distributed 20,000 MILK tokens as a FREE REWARD (worth around $120k at times) to those who staked in it. The MuesliSwap pool was the 8th out of 8 staking opportunities Revuto made available in spring/summer 2022.

During the same month, we released around $50k of FREE REWARDS in $GENS tokens from the GeniusYield staking pool.

Staking in all 8 pools, otherwise known as planets on our Rstronaut’s journey through the Cardano universe, was a way to stake $REVU (or $ADA) and earn great rewards in Cardano Native Tokens of partnering projects.

Partnered with Banxa to allow users to Buy $REVU in the Revuto app

One of the groundbreaking changes that came to the world of the $REVU token was the launch of the option to buy REVU directly from the Revuto app with FIAT (debit or credit cards).

Our partnership with Banxa has made it possible for Revuto app users to purchase $REVU and $ADA tokens without using a CEX or DEX. With this, the Revuto app has become a one-stop shop for all your cryptocurrency purchasing needs.

We spent a lot of time preparing for the launch of this feature. Our developers took care to make sure that everything operated smoothly. And, as always with Revuto, our legal compliance was adhered to as we expanded our services and made them available to users.

Rstronaut T-shirts

In the spring/summer of 2022, Revuto offered a series of staking pools in its app. Staking in all of the pools resulted in earning rewards in Cardano Native Tokens, a special NFT, and a limited edition Rstronaut T-shirt.

Sending out the T-shirts took longer than anticipated, but we sent them out worldwide after manually processing shipping addresses and size orders.

It was very exciting to see photos Rstronauts sent of their shirts once they were received.

Announced a Seed Round for equity by selling Ordinals on the Bitcoin network

In spring, we launched a fundraising campaign that was the first of its kind. Interested investors had a chance to purchase a special Ordinals NFT to essentially become key components in getting closer to the launch of our core product — Virtual Debit Cards. By selling Ordinals on the BTC network, Revuto raised $150k from 40 retail investors who became Revuto shareholders.

Besides buying Ordinals for equity in the Revuto project and some REVU tokens, investors had a chance to get a Revuelto NFT, which will allow them to enter the lottery to get the newest raging bull from Lamborghini once the REVU token price goes to $2 dollars and stays above that price for a while.

Although Revuto has been and remains a proud member of the Cardano community, as the crypto market evolves, we see the need to be ready to expand our presence and seize every opportunity for success that comes our way. We don’t want to limit the reach of our product and the amazing potential it has for not only the crypto community but also each and every person out there who uses subscription services and wants to be in control of what they are spending.

Partnered with Altwin to expand REVU token utility outside the Revuto ecosystem

In July, we saw the beginning of a partnership that extended the reach and use of the REVU token through the sports betting site Altwin.

REVU tokens are the only cryptocurrency on this platform. Altwin runs on decentralized blockchain technology and allows users to bet on sports events in a fast, fun, and fair manner.

The icing on the cake is that when you use REVU tokens to bet on Altwin, you win even when you lose! That’s because 10% of what you lose when you bet on Altwin will return to you in the Revuto Staking Center.

Battle Alliance, launched with its BattleCats edition in 2021, stands as one of the pioneering NFT projects on the Cardano blockchain.

At the core of Battle Alliance is a team of dedicated gamers and experienced crypto enthusiasts committed to crafting the ultimate gaming experience. From the outset, their vision has been clear: to create a game that they, as gamers themselves, would genuinely enjoy playing. A game created by gamers, for gamers.

The early access beta for the Battle Alliance game is currently live, playable on both PC and Android and will soon be accessible on iOS devices.

Originally conceptualized as a multiplayer PvP game, the single-player mode provides an excellent opportunity for players to explore our offerings and actively contribute to shaping the game’s future through their suggestions. Developed using the Unreal Engine, the game is designed to be compatible with various platforms, featuring multiplayer and idle play.

Players can use earned in-game points to acquire tanks for dominating the battlefield against other players and use them to engage in Battle Alliance Galaxy. Any unused points will be converted into tokens within the Battle Alliance system, with the release expected in Q1.

Revuto holders (with over 1000 Revu tokens) can enjoy an additional 40% bonus in in-game points. Alongside Revuto, Battle Alliance has integrated over 20 other projects on the Cardano blockchain.

Battle Alliance Galaxy is envisioned as an interactive 3D experience spanning planets and additional games within the ecosystem. By unlocking and minting tanks from the game, players gain access to planets and additional benefits such as token airdrops, ICO participation, and the chance to play mini-games for special rewards.

The BA team is building more than just a game; all their NFTs will be usable across multiple games. The vision has consistently aimed to create a cross-chain game, and the BA team is actively working towards that goal. The initial release of BattleApes Reborn NFTs is scheduled for this month on the Ethereum, Polygon, and Solana blockchains.

Partnered with ChainUp to bring the custodial wallet to the Revuto app along with the most popular crypto assets to the Revuto ecosystem

Our partnership with ChainUp will bring the most significant changes to the Revuto app. Multichain assets will be made available in the app so that you can receive, send, hold, and use your most popular crypto assets to pay for your subscriptions.

All that will be available via a new custodial wallet within the Revuto app. Thanks to the ChainUp partnership, we can launch a custodial multi-chain crypto wallet on a secure platform for crypto custody, allowing instant and cheap transactions within the Revuto ecosystem.

Tech Talk videos and Live AMA events from the Studio

2023 saw this filming and release of 11 new Revuto Tech Talks videos on our YouTube channel. Topics ranged from stablecoins to marketing, the Revuto core product, and other features.

In addition, 5 studio AMAs were held in 2023. These events were arguably more comprehensive than the ones in the previous year, in which we did them monthly. The new spacing allows for more content, interest, and hype in each event.

Additionally, we released a short promotional video with Vex explaining what Revuto is.

Revuto joins Cardano Startup Index

In the autumn, Revuto joined Blueshift’s Cardano Startup Index. This is yet another opportunity for our project to gain exposure and grow within the Cardano network. Integration is something that we understand to be important for Revuto because it helps us extend our reach and better establish our position in the world of crypto and beyond.

Revuto at the Cardano Summit 2023 in Dubai

In November, CEO Vedran Vukman traveled to Dubai, UAE, to participate in Cardano Summit 2023. The venue was full of familiar faces as almost everyone considered a top project on Cardano was physically there. The program was packed with panels and presentations on two main stages, while some projects had booths at the venue. During the program, Revuto’s CEO, Vedran Vukman (Vex), had several scheduled meetings.

To make the most of the trip to Dubai, with a few respectable companies (NMKR, TVVIN, Thespian), Revuto decided to organize and sponsor an invite-only side event a day before the Cardano Summit official program. The goal was to gather all the important people from the industry in a more relaxed environment, and the event brought together around 100 people — becoming one of the top trending crypto events in the city.

During the Summit, Revuto’s CEO presented the project to the local fintech community at the DFIC in the Dubai Business Centre. As a project, Revuto is introducing fintech products with web3 technology, so presenting at DFIC was a perfect place to announce its full roadmap and plans to a local audience, mainly because the plan is to unlock our main feature, a debit card program supporting crypto for users from the MENA region.

Revuto Staking Center pause and relaunch

The Revuto Staking Center has been undergoing a significant facelift. We had planned for this to be ready and operating earlier in the year, but some technical setbacks have massively increased our workload. The situation caused significant delays in processing stakings and unstakings. Because of this, at the moment, all R FUND pools are closed for staking additional ADA, which will stay like that, most likely until we process all pending stakings.

As compensation for the delays, we have boosted rewards for those who had staked in affected pools by sending out even more FREE REVU as a reward in addition to rewards in R Tokens to those who will choose to continue staking until June 1st.

Revuto started with unlocking ADA from R Fund pools in April, and despite the pause, so far, more than 800K ADA plus rewards have been sent to our Staking Center users. Payouts in ADA will continue through early 2024. Most likely, Revuto will clear all ADA pools before June 1st, regardless of the lock-up period.

REVU payouts will follow. We want to remind those who have REVU staked that Revuto prepared additional incentives to keep your REVU staked until we kickstart the REVU token economy with the launch of Revuto VDCs. All users who decide to keep their REVU tokens staked until June 1st, 2024 (midnight UTC) will be eligible for an additional R Token Airdrop, meaning for each REVU staked during the period, the user will get 30% in R Tokens.

A year in numbers

At the time of publication, we have over 368K registered users (which includes 13K who signed up in December). Moreover, over 66.8K wallets have been created in the Revuto app.

Our General Discussion Channel on Telegram currently has over 21K members. We’ve also got over 21.2K members on Discord and 35.9K followers on X (Twitter).

In 2023, we published 29 blog posts (including 10 progress reports). These posts help to keep existing followers on top of what we are doing both behind and in front of the scenes.

Keeping on that note, we also sent out 7 newsletters to people subscribed to get our updates in this format.

A growing number of influencers have taken note of Revuto and shared content about it. These include Shark Crypto, Danjo Capital Master, DeFiExpertise, Dam Gam (단감), Inspector Mindblow, and Crypto Baby.

Revuto has been featured by Yahoo! Finance, Cardano Feed, Vestbee, Dispatches Europe, Market Watch, Benzinga, and Bloomberg.

We also sponsored events like the Game Changer conference in Zagreb and the invite-only side event ahead of the Cardano Summit Dubai.

And our partnership with Rewardable is on track to onboard more users in 2024.
